The Strange Fruit Food Co-op box delivery scheme will begin on Saturday 5th of August. Members of the Food Co-op who live on the Haggerston, Whitmore and Kingsland estates will be able to place orders for their fruit and vegetables 1 week prior to their delivery. The orders will be either delivered to the door of residents or may be collected from Haggerston Community Centre on Thursday afternoon. The first deliveries will be made on 17th August 2000 and then each subsequent week. How will the scheme work?
