LATE LETTER

RECYCLING: HOW IMPORTANT IS IT ? IT....IS!!

I am an OAP who remembers that years ago "recycling" meant saving "left overs" of almost anything for later use; including food towards another meal; cloths, shoes, furniture, bedding were hand-me-downs, plus anything that was burnable was used to save fuel. We were poor enough then to appreciate the need for and economy of recycling!

Today’s thankful, now "better off" society with its "dump if unwanted" attitude and extensive packaging of most goods resulting in mountains of discarded rubbish fills me with deep concerns for the coming generations. They will not have the vast natural world resources of the past. We have to care NOW for the future. PLEASE, "DON’T JUST BIN IT" "RECYCLE BIN IT" INSTEAD!

(Recycling bins can be fitted into small spaces!)
