Project Overview

The project provides Internet/Computer Services at Haggerston Community Centre for local people and organisations. These range from general I.T including browsing/surfing and e-mail to more specialised Web site design and support. By providing low cost Computer/Internet services to local people and organisations, the project develops and support members of the community, facilitating the transfer of knowledge and information in the community. Vital community assets will be developed ensuring the future and long-term viability of local businesses. This links in to Haggerston Community Centre’s volunteer programme, which provides the necessary experience for volunteers with the aim of enhancing their employment opportunities and building capacity in organisations.
